WHAT WE DO?

HERE'S HOW WE CAN HELP...

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AND SUPPORT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF INNOVATIVE PRODUCTS

Ethnography; personas; ideation; very high fidelity rapid prototyping (with accessible and highly usable live components - Laum Platform), evaluation of the customer experience qualitatively and quantitatively with Artificial Intelligence techniques; business plan support, construction of the chosen prototype, SLA for product evolution after delivery.

HIGH-PACED IT TEAMS

Teams with: Managers, interaction and user experience designers, software architects, and full-stack dev (web and mobile). You pay per delivered story point (the entire team, including usability assessment). Artifacts delivered with SLA and technology transfer. Masters and Ph.Ds in specific areas can be part of squads or act as consultants.

LIVE ACCESSIBLE MICRO FRONTENDS

Laum Platform - Low-code with accessibility and high usability. Our live components with accessibility for the blind and deaf ensure more speed in building your system and superior usability. Live components can be used on the Figma platform in prototyping time, radically reducing the times of a) construction and validation of high-fidelity prototypes; b) hand-over; c) development; c) deployment.

ACCESSIBILITY

Team with masters and PhDs in the area, own methodology. Our team evaluates your software product, pointing out what needs to be reviewed to ensure superior customer/user experience and accessibility. After the diagnosis is carried out, you can either hire us to implement the proposed improvements or use our findings as you see fit.

OUR PILLARS

FOCUS ON HUMAN BEING

All work and research carried out at FFIT have a central focus on human beings. Technology only makes sense if it solves real problems for real people. And solve it well, with a great customer experience and in an inclusive way, with accessibility.

FOCUS ON THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY

We are a team made up of people connected to the university: Ph.D. professors and graduate and undergraduate students. We are always doing research and publishing in international journals and conferences in the areas of accessibility, HCI, and software engineering in general. Our products and methodology were born from strong research and scientific experimentation.

INNOVATION

We understand that businessmen and scientists need to go hand in hand for the progress of our society. Practices related to innovation seek this conciliation. Our methodologies and products support these practices.

SUPPORT FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

FFIT methodologies and products have already been used to support undergraduate scientific texts, dissertations, and theses. Mainly in the areas of human-computer interaction, software engineering, and digital health.

About FFIT

FFIT was founded in 2011 by Prof. Francisco (Fran) Oliveira and MSc. Fernando Oliveira. Its creation owed much to the encouragement of Dr. Ary Sobral (in memorian) and Dr. Dorival Olinda - Directors of Unimed do Ceará. Prof. Francisco was facing the US where he had finished his doctorate in computer science at Virginia Tech University. In that initial period, several support systems for adopting healthy habits were implemented, the programs of the TratBem line (Smoking, obesity, women's health, care for the elderly, sexuality in adolescence, patients with probes, Understanding about HPV, childhood diabetes). Several of them were the subject of research in masters and doctorate related to technology and health.

From this initial phase, FFIT had or still has the happiness of working for several Unimed (Fortaleza, Natal, Volta Redonda, Unimed Ceará, among others). In this phase, a lot of work is done with the software factory concept - both mobile and web. In addition to development, evaluation (quality/quantity) of the user's (or patient's) experience was carried out, content validation, etc.

FFIT produced, in partnership with Colégio Christus, support systems for teacher-student interaction in the classroom - projects (tablets in the classroom) that gained national notoriety (gsatech, Bom Dia Brasil, Rede Globo). The innovative system is still unsurpassed today.

With regard to support for accessibility, Prof. Fran's Doctoral thesis became a book for sale on Amazon and received a Brazilian patent, as well as an electronic game for the blind.

Ao longo desses anos, o Prof Fran vem orientando trabalhos de conclusão de curso, mestrados e doutorados nas áreas de acessibilidade, engenharia de software, health tech e liderando diversas pesquisas para

Over the years, Prof Fran has been guiding undergraduate, master's, and doctoral work in the areas of accessibility, software engineering, and health tech and leading several kinds of research for R&D projects for Dell Computers. The complete list of these works can be found on the Lattes platform

All these projects serve as a basis for the creation of work methodology and software products that are made available by FFIT to its customers. Several professionals who have already had Prof Fran as their advisor end up joining FFIT in the various scopes of their professional lives. In this wake, FFIT has also carried out several international projects, notably with the Inter-American Development Bank, the last of which ended recently.
